A division bench of the court comprising Chief Justice Dhananjay Y Chandrachud and Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhaya hearing a PIL filed by one NGO Hindu Front for Justice.

(UNI) J & K High Court has refused to order re-investigation into alleged rape and murder of two women, whose bodies were found on the bank of a nallah in south Kashmir district of Shopian in 2009. A Division Bench of the High Court, Chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice D S Thakur delivering the order, reserved in August last year, ruled out re-investigation into the alleged double rape and murder case of Asiya Jan and Neelofar.
