Srinivasan asks SC to reconsider order, files affidavit (2014-04-17)
(UNI) Ex-BCCI chief N Srinivasan has urged SC to reconsider its interim order removing him from the post of BCCI president. In an affidavit filed in the apex court, Mr Srinivasan said there was no justification for removing him from the post of BCCI chief, Court had earlier appointed former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar as BCCI chief to look after IPL 7 tournament and has directed former Team India player and BCCI vice-president from south zone Shivlal Yadav to take care of other affairs of the BCCI.

HC rejects bail of supporters of Naxal activities in Maharashtra (2014-04-17)
(UNI) The Bombay HC has rejected bail applications of three persons belonging to radical music group Kabir Kala Manch (KKM), arrested for allegedly supporting and funding Naxal activities in Maharashtra. On April 11, Justice A R Joshi rejected bail applications of Sachin Mali, Sagar Gorkhe and Ramesh Gaichor, who were arrested along with another member Sheetal Sathe in April last year after they courted arrest outside the state Assembly.
